Shut Up, I’m Trying to Think!
Did you ever hear those words above from your parents or someone else? They may not be the most polite thing to say, but they hold some truth.
Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, and many other intellectuals actually scheduled themselves time to think. I think it is the most important thing I do for my success. Most importantly, I do it with no TV, radio or music. It is QUIET time.
When you don’t have distractions, you really do think more freely and creatively. And that’s important. So why not schedule yourself some quiet reflection time today?

AN EMAIL FROM RANDY GAGE
So why would someone sponsor into Herbalife and buy $5,000 worth ofopening inventory - then never call back their sponsor again? What really goes on in a prospect's mind before they say 'yes or no to your presentation? Why do some people stay in andbecome successful, while others drop out the first week? One of the most important facets to leadership is understanding whypeople do the things they do. Yet understanding human behavior canbe a pretty confusing, frustrating, and elusive process. Includingunderstanding your own actions...Why are you afraid to even approach certain prospects? Why do yousometimes drag your feet on following up with a qualified prospectthat seemed very interested? What would cause you to procrastinatedoing something that you say you want to do? Having helped to introduce Network Marketing to Slovenia, Croatia,Macedonia, and Bulgaria - and now building in 50 countries aroundthe world - I can tell you that there are some constants in humanbehavior.Prospects at an opportunity meeting in Sydney are not really thatdifferent than the ones in Zagreb. Retail customers in Chicagowant the same thing ones in Stockholm do. And fear - fear ofrejection, fear of failure and fear of success - is no different inSeoul, Toronto, Caracas, or Freeport. When you understand some basics about what causes people to act,you get to the psychology behind success. You understand why themost successful people in the industry got to where they are. Mostimportantly of course is how this information applies to YOU. It is not nearly as much about understanding why your distributorsand prospects do what they do - as it is about why you do thethings you do! Of course gaining understanding of yourselfprovides a penetrating insight into others as well. There is a great resource that can help you in this area. Ibelieve it has the ability to completely transform your business, virtually overnight. Here's the story behind the story...Dr. Peter Pearson is one of the world's preeminent experts on humanbehavior. Peter and his wife Dr. Ellyn Bader are directors of TheCouple Institute in Menlo Park, California. They are knownworldwide for their ability to resolve the toughest emotionalissues and cases. In fact, their textbook on counseling is used ingraduate schools across the country, and they have trainedtherapists around the world! For more than 20 years, they havebeen taking the most difficult therapy cases - the ones othertherapists can't solve. There probably aren't 25 people in the entire world who understandhuman behavior with the insight that Pete has. Well I took Petein the studio, and posed to him some of the most difficult issues adistributor like you faces. Pete will take you on a journey into the mind of your prospects, soyou can discover what they are really thinking. You'll journeyinto your own mind, and find out what may be holding you back. This resource is the first comprehensive and detailed analysis ofthe psychological motivations that cause people to act. When you are aware what causes your fears, you'll know how toovercome them. You'll discover why distributors drop out, and whatmakes a prospect say 'Yes." And then there is one disc on thisalbum that should sell for $1,000.00 just by itself....Because that disc is titled, "How to Sponsor Your Spouse"! Thatdisc will show you how to present the business to your spouse in away that elicits support. Disc five has the same kind of valueto you. On that one, Pete actually works with a couple ofvolunteers on overcoming their fear of rejection and making callsto prospects. Now understand this is not about NLP, manipulating people, orforcing people to do things they don't want to do. You know Idon't believe in that crap and it doesn't duplicate. What this album will do for you is bring you UNDERSTANDING. Understanding of why you do the things you do, why your prospectsreact the way they do, and why your distributors do the things theydo. Every leader in the business should study this albumextensively. Every aspiring leader needs to get a copy and startlistening to it.

RAISING YOUR PROSPERITY CONSCIOUSNESS
A big step towards manifesting prosperity is expanding your consciousness towards it. You can’t be treated for prosperity; you must be open to receiving it. And if you have been raised in an environment of lack, it can be hard to get your mind around abundance.Well if that’s an issue for you, I suggest you hop over to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in particular Dubai. I’m here doing a speech, and the prosperity is simply astounding!
Now I’ve been following events here for a while, and thought I was prepared for what to expect. But when you get here and see it all for yourself, it’s mind-boggling. Skyscrapers are rising everywhere. And we’re not talking about puny little 60 or 70 story buildings; we’re talking massive towers. They’re currently building the tallest building in the world here, which will be 167 stories. Art Jonak tells me 80 percent of all of the cranes in the world are located in Dubai. Believe it! (And probably 19 of the other 20 percent are in Singapore!)
Dubai is home to the world’s only 7-star hotel, the BURJ AL ARAB. Check it out at:http://www.burj-al-arab.com/
Even I wouldn’t ask my clients to put me up there, so I’m slumming it at the Monarch Dubai. This five-star property met me at the airplane, whisked me through customs, had a limo waiting, and provided a suite with floor to ceiling windows offering panoramic views of Dubai and the Arabian Gulf. It had a couple 42” high-def TVs, leather topped desk, complimentary clothes pressing, wireless internet, gym membership, welcome drink and refreshments served in the room, buffet breakfast, and a lot of other stuff other hotels hose you for, all included. Plus 24-hour butler service on each floor and a limo back to the airport. The common areas are spectacular, and I bet they spend $100,000 a month just for the fresh flowers in the lobby. You could get used to this!
The UAE is also building the world’s three largest man-made islands, two of which will be in Dubai। The first, The Palm Jumeirah is pretty well along. Talk a look at:http://realestate.theemiratesnetwork.com/developments/dubai/palm_jumeirah.php
If you want an idea of the scope, scale and challenges of the project, watch this video at:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WybVe8eXXqw
It was actually done in the very early stages of construction, but it gives you an idea of the magnificence of the project. To give you an idea of the size, the only man made structures you can see from space are the Great Wall of China, Palm Jumeirah Island, and the check-in line at the Delta ticket counter.
I’ll be writing lots more about this in my “Randy’s Rants” e-zine, so if you’re not a subscriber, go back to the homepage and sign up. I’ll also be sharing my experiences on Emirates Airlines, the most luxurious prosperity in the sky. Talk to you then,
